For any business
Check who you're dealing with. Ask Claude.
Before you take on a supplier, a customer or a partner, ask your AI assistant whether they, or the people behind them, are on the UK, EU, UN, US or Canadian sanctions lists. Free, for 25 checks a day. When you need to show you checked, a signed certificate of the check is £2.
You ask
"Is Acme Trading Ltd, or anyone running it, on a sanctions list?"
Claude answers, from us
Acme Trading Ltd found at Companies House. Screened it and its 4 directors and owners against the UK, EU, UN, US and Canadian lists: all clear.
Not recorded: a free check isn't evidence. For a signed certificate of this check, £2: a link, held for 24 hours.
How it works
The official lists, behind your assistant
Companies, directors and owners
Give us a company and we screen it, its directors and the people who control it, straight from Companies House. Disqualified directors flagged.
Matching that understands names
Lukashenka is Lukashenko. Rosneft PJSC is Rosneft. A birth year that doesn't fit clears the common names.
Free checks keep nothing
A free check is screened in full and answered, and we keep no names and no results: only a count, for the daily limit. That's also why it isn't evidence.
A certificate, when it matters
For £2 we screen the check again, there and then, and keep a signed record of it in your business's name for six years, with a code anyone can check at /verify. Card, Apple Pay or Google Pay.
An answer, not a verdict
Clear, review or match. A review or a match means a name resembles a listed entry: it's for you to look at, not a finding that anyone is sanctioned.
Checking often?
A subscription records every check, signed and numbered, with monthly statements, re-screening when the lists change, and no daily limit. 3p a name. Start a free trial.
Connect
Add it to your assistant, step by step
You need only a work email. The connector's address is https://policy365.ca/mcp
Claude on the web, or Claude Desktop
- Open Settings, then Connectors.
- Choose Add custom connector. Name it Policy365 Screening, paste the address above, and add it.
- Press Connect. Our sign-in opens: give your work email, type the six-digit code we email you, and approve.
- In a chat, open the tools menu and check Policy365 Screening is on. Then ask it to check a person or a company.
On Claude Team or Enterprise, an owner adds the connector once, in Organization settings, then Connectors; each person then connects and signs in as themselves.
Claude on your phone
Add the connector on the web first, as above. It then appears in the Claude app on your phone, signed in.
Claude Code
- Run
claude mcp add --transport http policy365 https://policy365.ca/mcp - In Claude Code, run
/mcp, choose policy365 and authenticate: your browser opens our sign-in.
Other assistants
Any assistant that takes a remote MCP connector with sign-in works the same way: add the address, and sign in as yourself when it asks.
If your business has an account with us
Your account's owner turns on Let our people run checks from AI assistants on the account page first. Then each person connects as above, and their checks are your account's own: recorded, signed, billed at 3p a name and shown in Recent as made by them, through their assistant. Without an account, the first sign-in makes a free light account.
Try asking
Things to ask
- "Is Acme Trading Ltd, or anyone running it, on a sanctions list?" It finds the company at Companies House and screens it with its directors and owners. Where the name could be more than one company, it lists them for you to choose.
- "Look up company 00445790 and tell me who runs it." The company, its registered office, and its directors and owners: free, and nothing is screened.
- "Find the company number for Highland Lamb Co." Lookups are free, and the number is the thing to keep: a company screened by its number is screened with its directors and owners.
- "Screen Oleg Deripaska, born 1968." A person by name, with a year of birth where you know it: it clears common names.
- "Screen company 10261882 for quote Q-1042, with the disqualified directors check." A company by its number, filed under your own reference.
- "Keep watching them." With a re-screening plan, it watches the names on the last check, without screening them again: they're checked whenever a list changes.
- "What did we check for Q-1042?" Finds your account's recorded screenings under that reference.
Good to know
What it covers, and what it doesn't
- The lists: the UK Sanctions List, the EU's consolidated financial sanctions list, the UN Security Council Consolidated List, the Canadian Autonomous Sanctions List, and the US Treasury's OFAC lists (SDN and non-SDN), refreshed daily. Not politically exposed persons.
- Companies: UK companies, through Companies House. A company elsewhere is screened by its name alone.
- Free checks: 25 a day, and 100 company look-ups, on a light account. Nothing is recorded, so a free check isn't evidence; a certificate or a subscription is.
- An answer, not a verdict: a review or a match means a name resembles a listed entry. It's for a person to look at, and decisions on reviews are recorded on this site, not through the assistant.
- Your assistant's words: your assistant summarises our answer. The record, and its verification code, is what we stand behind.
